Facts About Chinese SAT Test
In 2004, there were 4,917 students who took the SAT Chinese subject test, up 71
percent from 2,865 in 1996. And by 2006, the College Board will begin offering
the Chinese language Advanced Placement test, which gives students an
opportunity to earn credit or advanced standing in college. That, in turn, could
spur more schools to offer the language.
